The Clinton County Historical Association (CCHA) invites the public to the grand opening of The Honor of Your Presence, a beautifully curated bridal exhibit debuting Wednesday, July 24 at 5:30 PM at the CCHA Museum (98 Ohio Avenue, Plattsburgh).
Showcasing over a century of local wedding traditions, the exhibit features gowns, accessories, and heirlooms donated by North Country families—each with its own love story. Guests can expect a ribbon-cutting ceremony, light refreshments, and the chance to meet the team behind the exhibit. Interactive displays and vintage photo backdrops add to the experience.
“We’re thrilled to share this extraordinary collection,” said CCHA Director Helen Nerska. “It’s a celebration of love, history, and the families who shaped our region.”
“Each gown tells a story of its time,” added Lead Exhibit Designer Randi Christodoulou. “Our goal was to create something immersive and meaningful.”
Opening night is free and open to all. The exhibit will remain on display through summer 2026, with seasonal events, guided tours, and even photo rental options for engaged couples.
